  24. Take 1 tsp of cumin seeds.

  29. You need 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
  30. Take 1 of fried onion.
  31. Use 1/2 cup of curd.

Instructions to make Veg Dum Biryani:

  1. Take a bowl and add 1/2 cup curd, 1 tsp coriander powder, red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Mix everything properly..
  2. Cut potato, cauliflower, carrots, paneer and French beans into large shapes and add them in the bowl. Add peas and mix everything all together..
  3. In a pan add water, cardamom, black Cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, salt, cloves into the water and bring it to boil.
  4. When the water is boiling add rice to it and cook till it's half cook..
  5. Into a pressure cooker add 3 tsp of ghee.
  6. In hot ghee add cumin, green and black Cardamom, cinnamon and fry till it's aromatic.
  7. Once the spices are done, add ginger garlic paste to the cooker and cook till it's done.
  8. Add veggies to the biryani mix into the cooker make sure the veggies are done upto 70%.
  9. Add fried onion to the mix and mix it properly.
  10. Adjust the consistency of the mixture using curd.
  11. Add a small quantity water to the cooker.
  12. On top of the mix lay down a layer rice and top it with fried onions and saffron milk mix.
  13. Add another layer of rice and top it with the fried onion and ghee to the top. Add little pudina and garam masala on the top.
  14. Close the lid of pressure cooker and heat it for 1 minute..
  15. Then keep the pressure cooker on top of a flat pan and cook it on low flame for 15 minutes.
  16. After 15 minutes remove the cooker from flame and keep aside for 10 minutes without opening the lid..
  17. Serve fresh with curd or salan.
